Ever since Hilary Clinton claimed that US showed “strategic patie
nce” toward Libya, the word STRATEGIC has become a fashion way to put things.
You are asked to “approach strategically” and “make strategic proposals” more and more often in consultations, which means you’d better keep silent to show you are really really strategic.
Looking at the world in such a mess in whatever sense, I can’t help wondering what strategy have people really got, or rather, as Hiliary put it, strategic patience is more than enough.
